Hi all, new to PhantomBot.
I was curious if it’s possible to do the following with the betting system:
- Place a bet that is not a default option (it gets added)
- Close the bet via the API
Basically, what I would like to ultimately do, is be always running a bet. “Is X going to happen after XXX encounters” is essentially what I’m aiming for. It could be 1 encounter, it could be several thousand. So I want users to be able to just jump in and place a custom bet option.
Then, when the thing happens in game, I would like a program I write be able to reach out to the PhantomBot API with what the final encounter number was. Then the betting closes/gets cleared and the person closest to guessing correctly wins the pool.
Is this a massive overhaul of the system or is there a way to easily achieve this? Thank you
