How to create a bot account:
Firstly, you will have to go to the developers application page on discord. You will see a page that looks like this one. You might not have any apps if you haven’t created any.
Secondly, you will want to hit the
New App button to create a new app. Once you do so, you will see a page like this one.
It will ask you for an
, the application name will also be your bot name. You can also change the application icon and description, the application icon will also show up on your bots profile page in discord. You do not need to add any redirect urls. Once you have everything filled in you can hit the
Thirdly, you will have to convert your application into a bot account, you can do that by simply clicking the
Create a Bot User button.
Fourthly, you will want to add the bot to your server, you can do that by simply adding your
Client ID to this url then going to it in your browser.
Once you do that, you will get a page like this.
You will want to select your server and then hit Authorize.
Your bot should now be in your discord server! You are almost done setting up PhantomBot for your discord now.
Finally, you will want to give PhantomBot access to your application. For that you can simply go back to your application page that you just created, and hit the
Click to reveal button where your bot token is.
You will want to copy that entire token, then locate your PhantomBot folder, and open the
file in your botfolder, make sure your bot if off before doing this.
You will want to add
in the botlogin.txt file, then save and close it. Once you boot PhantomBot your bot should come online in your server. You are now done setting up PhantomBot! You can now go on the control panel and enable the modules you want and setup the features.
Enabling the module
By default all of the discord module are all off. You can get the list of all modules by typing
!module list in your discord server, you can also enable them from the control panel. Every discord module on the panel will have
[Discord Module] next to the module name so you will know that one is for discord. If you want a list for every command you can use
