If PhantomBot is not responding in the Console there could be a couple of reasons.
The first one, check to ensure that the bot is an admin in your channel. This is not to say a Twitch moderator, but, PhantomBot stores information in the database indicating the permission level of each user, including PhantomBot. You can backup your database and start with a fresh one and see if that resolves the issue. If so, you may attempt to modify the database to resolve the issue. We recommend using a utility such as SQLiteBrowser to modify the DB. Again, make a backup copy before making any changes! See further below for instructions on how to do this.
The second reason is, in an operating system you have the ability to pause the output from a console. Each OS uses different means to unpause. In Linux and macOS you use CTRL-Q. In Windows, the space bar typically unpauses.
Database Editing Instructions
- Make a backup copy of your phantombot.db.
- Open SQLiteBrowser and open the phantombot.db file.
- Switch to the Browse Data tab:
phantombot_groupfrom the Table drop down list.
- Find your botname in the
variablecolumn. Click in the value column and change to
Write Changesand then exit the application.
