Let us know what help you need:
I cannot use the !quote or !addquote command

If a feature is not working, please provide console output, output from chat, logs, some sort of additional information to help us troubleshoot and provide assistance as needed:

Can I have some help with this? I have debugon=true in botlogin.txt but can’t find where to get that verbose logging.

When debug is on the Console will have additional logging. If you are running as a service, journalctl will capture that. You can also check the logs/core-debug/ and logs/error/ directories when the !quote or !addquote commands are ran to see if something is logged. If nothing is logged, perhaps check to make sure that the module is still enabled.

By the way, is dropping phantombot.db into the directory of the extracted new version of Phantombot an acceptable upgrade method?

#4

Yes. You’ll also need the botconfig file. They go in the config folder.
