Twitch API v5 Support

Earlier this year, Twitch announced that v3 of their API would be deprecated and then retired in February of 2018. In the Nightly Build being released on June 15, 2016, the v3 API has been removed and replaced with v5.

What does this mean? First off, the API has been tested for the most common items that it is used for. There were required changes to be made to the video information API end point (!vod) and to the gathering of data from all other endpoints as Twitch moves from using usernames to internal IDs as reference IDs on the API endpoints. There could be bugs. There could be issues. We would appreciate any and all bug reports, including logs, and debug logs, if you have enabled debug mode. These would be filed under Nightly Builds > Bug Reports.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to continuing to serve you into the future.
